چکیده
Introduction The prognostic role of soluble programmed death ligand 1 (sPD-L1) in digestive system cancers (DSCs) remains inconclusive. This study aimed to explore the predictive value sPD-L1 expression DSCs. Methods Comprehensive searches were run on electronic databases (PubMed, Web Science, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library) identify studies that assessed Review Manager software (version 5.3) was used for all analyses. Pooled data survival outcomes measured as hazard ratios (HRs), 95% confidence intervals (CIs), odds their CIs. Results search identified 18 involving 2,070 patients with meta-outcome revealed a high level related poorer overall (HR, 3.06; CI: 2.22–4.22, p<0.001) disease-free 2.53; 1.67–3.83, Individually, significance highest hepatic cell carcinoma 4.76; followed by gastric cancer (HR=3.55, p<0.001). Conclusion may be factor DSCs survival. Inflammatory cytokines, treatment approaches, other factors affect sPD-L1. Therefore, recurrence metastasis should further investigated. also predict response treatment. Well-designed prospective standard assessment methods conducted determine

Clinical significance of programmed death-1 ligand-1 and programmed death-1 ligand-2 expression in human esophageal cancer.
PURPOSE The negative regulatory programmed death-1/programmed death-1 ligand (PD-1/PD-L) pathway in T-cell activation has been suggested to play an important role in tumor evasion from host immunity. In this study, we investigated the expression of PD-L1 and PD-L2 in human esophageal cancer to define their clinical significance in patients' prognosis after surgery. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN PD-L1 a...

Programmed death 1 (PD-1)/programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) pathway blockade has become a promising therapeutic target in adult cancers. We evaluated PD-L1 expression and tumor-infiltrating CD8(+) T cells in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tumor specimens from 53 untreated pediatric patients with eight cancer types: neuroblastoma, extracranial malignant germ cell tumor, hepatoblastoma, germin...

Objectives: To determine whether the soluble programmed cell death ligand 1 (sPD-L1) levels in patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) are associated with the clinical features of the disease and the efficacy of treatment, including interferon (IFN)-α. Methods: We investigated the sPD-L1 levels in the sera of 80 genotype 1b Japanese patients with CHC who underwent 12 weeks of telaprevir (TVR)- ...
متن کاملPrognostic significance of circulating soluble programmed death ligand-1 in patients with solid tumors
BACKGROUND The prognostic significance of circulating soluble programmed death ligand-1 (sPD-L1) in patients with solid tumors remains unclear. We performed a meta-analysis to address this issue. METHODS Several electronic databases were searched from January 1970 to May 2017. The hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) were calculated to determine the relationship between th...
